Overview

Document changes require editing access. Restricted client user types, including the default client SDR type, can only view permitted materials. Documents is the selected client's shared onboarding materials library for files, Office and Google documents, and reference links. Choose the Lists or Strategy section, upload one or more supported files, create a Google Sheet, Google Doc, Excel workbook, or Word document, and review each result. Employees can switch between Client visible and Internal only views. Client users see only material shared with their deal. A named incoming SDR with scheduled takeover preparation access can review this account before activation. That temporary lane is read-only: files and links can be opened, downloaded, and refreshed, but uploads, creation, responder changes, edits, and deletion remain unavailable. MP3 call recordings are stored as audio for authorized opening or download and are not transcribed into Playmaker text.

How to use this page

  1. Select the client

Pick the client in the top-right switcher. The stat band and document sections are scoped to that selected deal.

  2. Review materials for a scheduled takeover

If you are the named incoming SDR, select the account marked Prep and its takeover date in the client switcher. SalesHive opens the account in takeover preparation mode. In Documents, review the Client visible and Internal only Lists and Strategy materials, open or download files, and use Refresh when needed. Upload, Create, Add link, Responder changes, Edit, and Delete remain unavailable until the takeover activates or you receive another authorized assignment path.

  3. Choose document visibility

Employees can use Client visible for material shared with the client or Internal only for material that stays inside SalesHive. Client users see the client-visible view and do not receive the Internal only tab.

  4. Upload one or more files

Choose Files or drop supported files up to 25MB each after choosing visibility and Lists or Strategy. CSV, XLS and XLSX uploads are converted to Google Sheets; TXT, DOC and DOCX uploads are converted to Google Docs using the complete original file. Originals remain downloadable. Other supported formats keep their normal viewing behavior; MP3 files are not transcribed. Review Upload results for each file. A conversion failure means that upload did not complete; check the file and Drive access before retrying.

  5. Create a Google or Office file

Select Create in Lists or Strategy, choose Google Sheet, Google Doc, Excel workbook, or Word document, enter a name and optional notes, then select Create spreadsheet or Create document.

  6. Add a reference link

Select Add link in Lists or Strategy, enter a complete http(s) URL, and add a name and optional note.

  7. Organize and refresh materials

Keep contact lists, DNC lists, and working spreadsheets in Lists. Keep strategy documents, decks, briefs, and reference links in Strategy. Select Refresh on a section when you need to reload its contents.

  8. Open, edit, or download a material

Select the file name or Open in Google Sheets / Google Docs when shown. Other files offer Open file. Download original saves the uploaded original. Edit changes available name, section, notes and URL fields. Visibility is chosen before upload and cannot be changed here for a file linked to Google Drive. Internal imports use the internal folder permissions; client-visible imports use the selected shared folder.

  9. Mark responder material

Use the Responder switch to make a file or link available to the AI email responder for this client. Campaign settings can narrow that material further.

  10. Import a TAM CSV into Lists

Choose the document visibility first. In Lists, select Import TAM CSV and choose a CSV template or company list up to 25MB. Review Upload results to confirm it saved. The file goes directly into Lists using the selected Client visible or Internal only view. Employees should choose Internal only before uploading team instructions or working drafts. Visibility tabs stay unavailable while an upload, edit, link save, or file creation is running.

  11. Review documents with a restricted client type

Select the correct client, open Lists or Strategy, and use the available Open file, Download and Refresh controls. Only client-visible material is available to client users. The creation and editing steps in this guide apply only when you have editing access.

Common questions

Yes. Choose or drop one or more supported TXT, PDF, CSV, DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLSX, PNG, JPG, JPEG, GIF, WEBP, or MP3 files up to 25MB each. Each file is processed independently and appears in Upload results.
No. SalesHive verifies and stores the MP3 as audio. Authorized users can open or download it, but it does not become extracted Playmaker text.
Yes. Create offers Google Sheet, Google Doc, Excel workbook, and Word document. Enter a name and optional notes before creating the file in Lists or Strategy.
Employees can use Internal only for material that should stay visible to SalesHive teammates for the selected deal. Client users see only the Client visible view.
The result list shows the outcome for every file, so successful uploads remain available and you can identify the file that needs attention.
Yes. Newly uploaded CSV and Excel files open in Google Sheets; Word and TXT files open in Google Docs. Download original retains the uploaded file. Existing files without an editor link still use Open file; this release does not retroactively convert them.
Use Lists for contact lists, DNC lists, and working spreadsheets. Use Strategy for strategy documents, decks, briefs, and other reference links.
A restricted client user type, including the default client SDR type, makes Documents read-only when viewing is permitted. You can open, download and refresh shared material, but cannot upload, import a TAM CSV, create files, add links, edit, delete or change responder use. Scheduled takeover preparation also remains read-only. Contact your SalesHive team if you need different access.
No. It stores the CSV as an onboarding reference file in Lists. It does not enroll contacts or start outreach.
