Overview

Tasks contains optional Beta sequence work on the enabled client. Campaign calling works independently: use Open campaigns for your assigned campaign contacts. This completion-based workflow is available only on the enabled client account. BDRs work their own assignments; authorized team leads manage sequences on the separate Sequences page. Assign eligible contacts from Contacts, individually or from a list. Independent sequences preserve campaign history without moving contacts or activating campaigns. The first task starts from assignment, and later delays start when the previous task completes. Opening the page enrolls nobody.

How to use this page

  1. Choose your queue

Open Tasks on the enabled client. Choose My work or Available to claim; authorized team leads also have All assigned work. Assigned views start with Due now: calls and reviewed emails. Under Work to show, choose Upcoming manual tasks, Automatic emails, Needs attention / paused or All next steps as needed. Set Campaign, Industry and Batch, and BDR in All assigned work, then Apply filters. Summary counts describe each contact's next step and follow the selected filters. Times are Eastern. Changing views resets the work choice and incompatible filters. A view with no matching tasks does not mean all outreach is complete.

  2. Claim available work

In Available to claim, select up to 100 contacts from work opened for self-claim, then Claim selected. Your sender and current access must qualify. Claiming starts assigned work; automatic email tasks can send when due. The former 200-open-contact limit no longer applies.

  3. Complete a call task

For an independent sequence, Open manual dialer selects the owned contact without placing a call. Campaign-linked tasks retain Open contact. Complete the call and save its disposition through the normal calling flow. Return to Tasks, select Check saved call, review the outcome and date, then Complete task with this call. Opening the dialer or placing a call alone does not complete the task.

  4. Review an email before sending

For a due Reviewed email task, select Review email. Check To, From, Subject, the message and any filenames listed under Attachments included. Send reviewed email sends the reviewed message; Cancel closes the editor. A missing recipient or assigned sender prevents sending. Automatic email tasks wait for their due time and sender checks.

  5. Resolve a held task

Read the failure beside Next action. Retry email checks appears only for authorized managers and eligible failures before sending. Missing sender access requires an administrator to connect and assign the mailbox. Delivery uncertainty requires an administrator to reconcile saved evidence before further email. Do not resend an uncertain message.

  6. Create a sequence as a team lead

Select Manage sequences or Sequences to open the separate sequence library. Use Create sequence or Edit sequence, then complete Name your sequence, Build the steps and Review and save. Choose Manual call, Reviewed email or Automatic email steps and delays, then Save sequence. Saving enrolls nobody. New versions affect future assignments; existing assignments retain their saved steps, copy and attachments.

  7. Add email fields and documents

In an email sequence step, use Insert Field in subject or Insert Field in the message editor to add First Name, Last Name, Company Name or Industry. Select Attach document for PDF, Word, Excel, CSV or text files. Each email allows up to five files, 20 MB each and 25 MB total. Review the listed filenames and use Remove for an unwanted attachment. Finish with Save sequence. Attachment changes apply to future assignments; existing assignments keep their saved version. Files are included when that email sends.

  8. Assign contacts from Contacts

Open Contacts and expand Add contacts to a sequence. Filter an accessible list, choose a sequence and select eligible contacts. Managers choose an SDR or Available to Claim; SDRs assign to themselves in batches of up to 100. Review contacts, then confirm Add to sequence. Where needed, explicitly review Switch selected contacts from campaign emails to sequence outreach when enrolling and the queued-email counts. Confirmation cancels only reviewed queued campaign emails; sending, failed or uncertain delivery remains blocked. Campaign membership and history stay intact, and campaign emails remain disabled for these contacts after the sequence ends. Assigned automatic sequence steps may send when due.

  9. Manage existing assignments

Open Manage assignment. Save assignment changes the BDR and future sender while preserving the current step and history. Pause workflow holds work; Resume workflow reactivates it subject to current checks. Stop workflow requires confirmation, preserves completed history and cannot be restarted. Close leaves the panel.

  10. Review activity

Open Activity report for recorded calls, emails and session summaries. New independent enrollments retain their source campaign for task filtering and confirmed sequence-email reporting without changing campaign membership. Work with no saved source remains separate; do not infer missing historic attribution. Refresh reloads the queue; Previous and Next move through its pages.

Common questions

This workflow is limited to the enabled client and your current account permissions. Other clients keep their existing workflow.
The previous task must complete successfully. Later delays run from completion, not the original assignment date. Refresh after completion and check any displayed hold.
No. It creates a version for future assignments. Existing assignments retain their current steps, email copy and attachments.
No. Provider acceptance and saved task completion are separate facts. Delivery uncertainty requires reconciliation before work advances.
Check the selected view and filters. Available to claim contains contacts already enrolled and waiting for an SDR. Campaign calls do not require sequence tasks; use Open campaigns. To enroll optional sequence work, open Contacts and expand Add contacts to a sequence. Authorized team leads manage reusable plans on Sequences.
No. Name it for a persona or audience. Contacts enrollment has no industry requirement; Tasks retains its separate Industry filter. Ownership, status, active-sequence and unfinished-email checks still apply.
Automatic steps follow sender schedules and capacity. Upcoming manual steps become actionable as the sequence advances after prior work is completed. Review the next action and state; counts are not proof that an email sent.
